Russian political experts stress the necessity of the illegal exit of foreign forces from Syria

Russian political experts reaffirmed the necessity of preserving the unity and integrity of Syrian lands, eliminating terrorism in the Idlib governorate and removing illegal foreign forces from Syria.

The deputy head of the Russian Diplomatic Association, Ambassador Andrei Baklanov, expressed hope after the announcement of reaching an agreement to stop hostilities in Idlib at the current situation yesterday by attaching great importance to the main issues such as maintaining the unity and integrity of the Syrian lands and liberating them from terrorism and removing the illegal and foreign foreign military forces present Justified, including the Turkish regime forces.

Baklanov, who is also the assistant vice-president of the Russian Federation Council, in an interview with a SANA correspondent in Moscow today, pointed out the importance of starting to move politically and regulate relations with neighboring countries in the region by adhering to the basic rules of good neighborhood and the requirements of the United Nations charters and not moving its forces outside their national borders.

In turn, the senior scientific researcher at the Institute of Scientific Economics and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences Nikolai Surkov considered in a similar interview that the importance of the agreement that President Vladimir Putin announced reached with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan yesterday lies in the fact that the latter will bear the responsibility for provocations by terrorists in the province Idlib and said we hope that through this the threats to the security of the provinces surrounding Idlib will be avoided and after that all Turkish regime forces should be withdrawn from Syrian territory.

For his part, the deputy director of the CIS Institute, the military expert, Vladimir Yvesev, stressed the necessity of not interfering in Syria’s affairs, because only the Syrians will decide the future of their country.

Yevsiyev pointed out in a similar interview the extreme importance of joint work between Russia and Syria to confront Erdogan's allegations and ambitions in the Syrian territories, describing the head of the Turkish regime as "the most hard-line and confrontational politician and practicing a brazen aggressive policy."

Yvesiev criticized the practices of the Americans throughout the years of the crisis in Syria, indicating that they are "deceptive and evasive", calling for "the exit of foreign forces, especially the American, from the Syrian territories and the non-interference in its internal affairs."
