Tomorrow the start of the first conference on the methodology of scientific research and academic publishing

Tomorrow the Damascus University amphitheater will launch the first conference on "Methodology for Scientific Research and Academic Publishing" which is held by the University and the Excellence and Creativity Commission for two days.

The conference includes, according to a statement by the university and the authority, SANA received a copy of it today 22 professional lectures covering various axes and rules of scientific research and academic publishing by a group of professors and lecturers in higher education and the Excellence and Creativity Commission.

The lectures carry titles such as "national research databases, the use of scientific research to meet the needs of society, an introduction to evidence-based medicine, the types of scientific articles and their structure, research in reference databases, the scientific research scheme, sampling methods, statistical tools, citation, and reference organization in addition to other topics."

The university and the organization invited students of graduate studies, academic programs and members of the teaching and educational staff in various scientific specializations to participate and attend the conference, which is the first of its kind at the level of Syria and the region.
