The Disciplinary Tribunal for the Bar Association has decided to permanently suspend a lawyer after being convicted of taking money from a fraudulent client. He was also fined NIS 10,000 and fined NIS 5,000 for this court after being convicted once a second of a similar offense.

According to the sentence that the Disciplinary Tribunal's lawyer, Attorney Nir Jaslowitz, wrote, the lawyer told his clients that he needed NIS 10,000 to evacuate people from their apartment who refused to evacuate and the money he pocketed, even though the evacuation procedure he took did not charge him any money.

"The recipient did not express regret and remorse for his actions. On the contrary, the recipient will, throughout the course of the procedure, excuse his actions with different and different arguments, without accepting any responsibility," it said.

"The recipient of pocket money that was intended exclusively for the payment of legal expenses intended to evacuate the residential apartment, while the recipient planned in advance to rob the complainants of their money, in a false pretext that the money paid by the complainants, is generally intended to finance legal expenses. The recipient is a fraud, and I do not intend to continue to allow the recipient to serve as a lawyer, "the decision states.
