It is the first time since its creation in 1930 that its logo is no longer discreetly affixed on the sides of a dress that it designed but proudly sits on a grille. Quite a symbol: the year of its 90 years, the Carrozzeria Pininfarina based in Cambiano, near Turin, decided to become a full-fledged manufacturer. His first creation, the Battista - in homage to the founding father Gian-Battista "Pinin" Farina -, was born just 22 months after the acquisition of the famous Italian design studio by the Indian Mahindra and the creation of the brand Automobili Pininfarina in 2018.
