Summer holidays: top start for the sale of SNCF train tickets

2020-03-10T04:52:18.393Z

Travel until August 30 on board TGV inOui and Intercités can be booked as of this Tuesday. For Ouigo trains, sales are open until December 12.

It's time to think about the summer vacation. This Tuesday March 10, at 6 a.m., the SNCF opens the sales of TGV inOui and Intercités tickets for journeys from Saturday July 4 to Sunday August 30. To get to Brest, Marseille or the Basque coast at the best price, it is better to be among the first to book. Tickets are on sale through the usual sales channels, namely the website and the Oui.sncf application, as well as SNCF approved stores and agencies.

The low-cost subsidiary Ouigo, on the other hand, is selling tickets for trips until December 12. A good reason to plan a vacation in September and to take advantage of the 11 November bridge. The lowest prices (€ 10 for an adult, € 5 for a child) are currently only available on certain dates on a selection of 41 destinations (Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon ...).

From June 1, Ouigo will directly connect the center of Paris (Gare de Lyon) and the center of Lyon (Part-Dieu and Perrache) at the rate of three round trips per day. Another novelty: since December 2019, the inOui TGV connection between Paris and the Arcachon basin, provided in three hours, operates every day and no longer only at weekends.
