The Daraa shoes factory returned to work and production at a temporary headquarters within the city's pasta company building after stopping for about 7 years as a result of the terrorists destroying the factory and completely looting its machines.

Khaled Khalil, the supervisor of the factory's installation, indicated in a statement to a SANA reporter that the workers were out of work for about 7 years due to the destruction of the headquarters of the main laboratory in Daraa Al-Balad entirely by terrorist groups, noting that the past few days have witnessed the factories being supplied with a number of machines and machines needed to work from the public company In addition to two devices to cut the skin.

Khalil mentioned that the first section was equipped and another section is in the process of preparation, stressing that the workers who were distributed in previous years to the departments and institutions of the state have a great desire to recycle the production wheel and thus provide a product with high specifications.

Fouad Al-Rifai is responsible for the showroom. He stated in a similar statement that the factory now has a hall that displays the production of shoe factories in the governorates and for all age groups, stressing that the factory prices are competitive and less than the prices offered in the markets.

He added that the factory administration is seeking to launch a showroom within the commercial market to meet the needs of citizens and state employees who rent their requirements of shoes according to annual receipts from state halls and institutions.

It is reported that in 2011 the factory produced 81,190 pairs of shoes, at a value exceeding 100 million Syrian pounds.
