Levi-Axis is not the victim here

She is a woman. East. Daughter of David Levy. Moroccan, Israel II, the voice of the periphery. A minority, depressed Mapai, disadvantaged, meets all the criteria that should make Ashkenazi condescending from Meretz not visit her, feel uncomfortable. And yet and despite this, Orly Levi-Abaxis should return the mandate and go home.

Less than 75,000 votes, that's what she got when she ran alone. The Labor Party covered its duties, welcomed it with open arms. The Meretz people moved back for her, Issawi Faraj, who, with his own mandate, brought him to the top ten. Still, despite the dignity and political and economic lifeline she received - she stuck a knife in the back of those who reached out to her.

Which, to put it mildly, is unforgivable. And that is audacity and boldness, crooks. Whoever does such a thing, an Oriental woman or Ashkenazi man, to spit on people in the face is not a privilege reserved for anyone, no matter what their gender or whether they are called Silberberg or Buscilla.

There are loads of people using the word "deprivation". Some to attract voters, but some to make others scramble. The easiest way to silence a critical discourse is to tell someone who is Ashkenazi condescending and racist. A lot of people of Ashkenazi origin are on their toes when it comes to Mizrahim, because they are afraid of this tag. Oh my gosh to say something bad about someone. Lee's grandmother left an apartment on the Tel Aviv-Ramat Gan border and his family threw in the periphery, not pretty, unpleasant. Orientalism and deprivation have become a chain of immunity in the survival game. People who call privileges are not allowed to rely on those who deprived themselves. There is no relevant discourse, only identity discourse.

So enough, really. There is a limit. It is possible and necessary to visit people according to their actions - and not by association of Ada or Nation. Moroccans, Arabs, and even African Americans sometimes behave in an improper and ugly and illegitimate way. And it's not because they deprived their family, it's simply because of them and their guilt.

Every person, especially a political person, should be judged based on his actions. These are mature, conscious and forceful people, not a helpless group of children or a disadvantaged group. None of them have the right to be sacrificed, certainly not by the surname.

Orly Levi-Abaxis joined Meretz with open eyes. No one forced her, she could run alone again or join another party. She deserves every scorn for her current behavior. And it's not because I'm Ashkenazi and she's Moroccan. It's because she does an act that won't be done.
