Today, the headquarters of the Agricultural Directorate in Deir Al-Zour were put into service, and a Syrian lounge was opened for trade in Al-Mayadeen City, during the visit of the ministerial committee charged with following up the implementation of service and development projects in the governorate headed by the Minister of Oil, Engineer Ali Ghanem.

The Director of Agriculture in Deir Al-Zour, Eng. Mahmoud Al-Zuh, pointed out that the current building of the Directorate has been rehabilitated to be an alternative headquarters for the Directorate, whose headquarters were destroyed by terrorism, pointing to the agricultural sector's return to recovery significantly during the past three years, with 33 extension units being returned to service distributed throughout All preserved.

In turn, the director of the Syrian Branch of Trade, Ighid Jouiche, explained that the opening of the hall, which is the second in the city of Al-Mayadeen, comes in the context of seeking to secure materials and goods for citizens who have returned to their areas that the Syrian Arab Army freed from terrorism.

He pointed out that the hall was provided with all basic materials, especially those that are distributed via the smart card, pointing out that the number of halls in Deir Al-Zour reached 23 throughout the governorate, in addition to the two cars selling two rounds targeting the areas where there are no halls.

The committee, which includes the Ministers of Agriculture, Engineer Ahmed Al-Qadri, Higher Education and Scientific Research, also informed Dr. Bassam Ibrahim about the rehabilitation works of the Deir Al-Zour Cemetery, where the Director of the Cycle, Engineer Daoud Al-Muhammad, mentioned that the rehabilitation process started after allocating 500 million pounds and the first phase included the rehabilitation of 8 dairy cows hangars at a rate of 75 percent, rehabilitating part of the outer wall, and rehabilitating the tank, in addition to rehabilitating the drinking water network, sewage network, and the electricity network.

The committee visited the Al-Mahash oil field, where the Director General of the Syrian Oil Company, Wasif Al-Haimid, stated that the field was subjected to sabotage and terrorist attacks, and immediately after its liberation by the Syrian Arab Army, an urgent plan was put in place to rehabilitate and return it to production, and 14 wells with a production of about 650 barrels per day were expected and production is expected to reach 900 barrels per day at the end of the current year, while the storage capacity of the tanks was increased to 300 cubic meters, and the electrical current was delivered to the field.

The Ministerial Committee reviewed the achievement rates in the project for the rehabilitation of the third sector for government irrigation and between the director of the Operations and Maintenance Branch, Eng. Ahmed Haitham, that the rehabilitation works for the project have reached advanced stages and it is expected that the investment will be placed within the next two months, pointing out that the project aims to irrigate about 11 thousand hectares that extend from an area Al-Mureiah to the Al-Zubari area in the eastern governorate countryside, where the military construction institution was contracted and started repair work at a value of 1.444 billion Syrian pounds, and it is expected that it will be ready in the middle of this year.

The Ministerial Committee participated in a reforestation campaign in the Port Said Al-Haraji site, and reviewed work on maintenance and rehabilitation of the building of the Examinations Department and the headquarters of the College of Science at the University of Euphrates. The number of open education students in Deir Ezzor reached 2,661 male and female students, 198 male and female students from Raqqa, and the number of faculty members 156 and technical 98, the number of teaching assistants 174, and the number of colleges currently 11.

The committee reviewed the work of the Citizen Service Center at Deir Al-Zour City Council and the work of rehabilitating the Government House building and the commercial market project for Al-Mayadeen City Council.

The Governor of Deir Al-Zour Abdul Majeed Al-Kawakibi, Commander of the Governorate Police Brigadier General Bilal Mahmoud, President of the Euphrates University, Dr. Jacques Mardini, and a number of members of the People's Assembly participated in the tour.
