The Republic Athletics Championships concluded its competitions today in the Al-Assad Sports City in Latakia with the participation of 150 players.
As for the category of young women, its competitions ended with the victory of Ola Rizk 100 meters hurdles and 400 meters barriers and Rose Al-Hamwi 100 meters and Hala Al-Aawar 200 meters and a verse 400 meters and Nour Mustafa 800 meters and Hala Habib 1500 meters and Noor Al-Atrash in the high jump and Yemen and Waqf in the triple and long jump and Simon Choufi by throwing the iron ball and Batoul Hussein 5 km walk and Noor Al-Huda Hassan 5 km running and Yana Al-Shoufi by throwing the hammer and Asmaa Al-Bahri by throwing a spear.
In the men’s category, Basil Muhammad won 200 meters running, Ahmed Ramadan 800 meters, Samer Al Samir 5 km running, Muhammad Abdul Qadir Abu Nabot throwing the iron ball, Amer Kahlah by throwing the spear, and Muhammad Abu Al Kanj by throwing the disc.
Aya Ghanem was ranked first by throwing a spear and disk, and Yara Marwa won the first place by throwing iron ball.
