The Czech government announced Friday March 13 that the country's borders would be closed to foreigners wanting to enter the country as well as Czechs wanting to go abroad from Monday March 16 to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

" From midnight on Sunday, we prohibit all foreigners from entering the Czech Republic and at the same time all Czech citizens from leaving Czech territory ," Interior Minister Jan Hamacek told reporters. 117 cases of contamination have been recorded so far in this EU member country.
