According to this OpinionWay study, carried out for LREM, the macronist candidate remains third behind Rachida Dati and Anne Hidalgo but wins

In the midst of the coronavirus crisis, which poses many uncertainties on the first round of municipal elections, this is good news for the LREM candidate for mayor of Paris Agnès Buzyn. In a poll * carried out by OpinionWay on March 11 and 12 and commissioned by him, the former Minister of Health is placed at 20% of the voting intentions, his best score since his campaigning on February 16 following the withdrawal by Benjamin Griveaux and the sextape affair.

According to the results of the study that we were able to consult, Agnès Buzyn is still in third position behind candidate LR Rachida Dati (given at 26%) and the outgoing mayor (PS) Anne Hidalgo (who collects 24%). But it has gained two points since the last OpinionWay study dated March 6, while Anne Hidalgo only gleaned one and Rachida Dati is stable. A trio of female heads who seems to polarize the voting intentions since the environmental candidate David Belliard falls to 11% (-2 points) and the candidate (excluded from En Marche) Cédric Villani drops to 5% (- 1 point).

In the camp of the candidate LREM, we obviously welcome an encouraging survey. "It shows a real dynamic around Agnes Buzyn who is starting to appear to be the only one capable of embodying useful voting thanks to her ability to gather a majority of alternation," points out Patrick Levy-Waitz, adviser to the candidate in charge of The strategy. We can go to a real surprise ”.

Since entering the campaign, Agnès Buzyn has been given between 17% and 20% of the voting intentions according to the polling institutes, most often at 19%. Thursday, a poll by Ifop-Fiducial for CNEWS and Sud Radio rather demonstrated a dynamic in favor of Anne Hidalgo which was given at 26% (+ 2 points compared to the previous poll by the same institute) before Rachida Dati (- 1 point) and Agnès Buzyn (- 2 points).

* The survey was carried out on a sample of 1,420 people registered on the electoral lists in Paris, from a sample of 1,585 people, representative of the Parisian population aged 18 and over.
