China reported on Saturday March 14th only 11 new infections by the new coronavirus, but for the first time since the beginning of the epidemic, the main part is by people coming from abroad.

Of these additional cases, just four were recorded in the city of Wuhan (center), the epicenter of Covid-19 where the virus appeared in late 2019, according to the Ministry of Health. This is the lowest figure since the count began in January.
The other seven new infections identified (four in Shanghai, two in Gansu province and one in Beijing) were caused by people from abroad. Their nationality has not been specified.
China now has a total of 95 "imported cases", as it calls them.
If as President Xi Jinping has said, the epidemic is "practically brought to a halt" in the country, the health authorities remain vigilant in the face of the arrival of infected travelers, in particular from Iran, South Korea, Italy and United States.
The Ministry of Health also reported 13 additional deaths on Saturday (a slight increase from the previous day's seven), bringing the total to 3,189 in mainland China (excluding Hong Kong and Macao). A total of 80,824 people have now been infected in the country. But more than 65,000, or more than 80%, have already been cured and have left the hospital.
Fall in South Korea
In South Korea, a slowdown in the number of new cases has also been observed. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) identified 107 new confirmed cases of coronavirus contamination on Saturday, down slightly from the previous day (110), bringing the total to 8,086 people infected with the virus since its appearance. Conversely, 204 patients were discharged from hospitals where they had been placed in isolation for treatment.
Elsewhere in the world, one person died in Ecuador, the fifth in Latin America. Two aces have been confirmed in Venezuela. In India, almost 100 people are infected.
Antarctica is the last continent where no case of coronavirus has been recorded.
