(CNN Spanish) - The governor of Puerto Rico, Wanda Vázquez, signed an executive order on Sunday establishing a curfew on the island in the face of the emergency faced by the coronavirus.

“I have ordered to establish a curfew for all residents of Puerto Rico. It will begin at 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. the following day, which will run until March 30, ”Vázquez said in a televised message.

Governor Vázquez Garced also confirmed a fifth positive case of coronavirus in Puerto Rico. This fifth case is a 65-year-old woman who traveled to New York and was treated at a health center in the Mayagüez region. The test was performed in the Public Health Laboratory of the Department of Health.
