The Hasaka Education Directorate has sterilized a number of schools and worked to secure a clean environment within the classrooms, public facilities, and toilets, and to detect, clean, and sterilize drinking water tanks well in implementation of precautionary measures to address the Corona virus.
The Director of Al-Hasakeh Education Ilham Sourkhan said in a statement to SANA correspondent that the campaign aims to reach all schools, make environmental statements within them, see pollution sites, and work to avoid all that could constitute a danger, facilitate the spread of diseases, prevent infection, and deal mainly with the Corona virus.
Sourkhan pointed out that coordination was made with the Water Directorate in order to secure sterilization materials for tanks and communicate with the World Health Organization to secure sterilization materials and prevent "chlorine, gloves, masks and alcohol" and coordination with the water project in the Syrian Red Crescent branch to secure a water tank accompanying school health staff for Clean tanks well and sterilize them with chlorine in addition to cleaning school surfaces.
For his part, the head of the School Health Department, Dr. Khaled Hussein stressed that the procedures have been intensified and all the cadres working within the school health department are mobilized to directly supervise the implementation of public safety procedures and maintain a clean environment in preparation for receiving students upon resumption of work as the general rules and principles for sterilization and cleaning of the restroom are applied And public facilities within schools and educational groups and to ensure that there is no environment to spread diseases and viruses in general.
