The outbreak of new coronavirus pneumonia (commonly known as Wuhan pneumonia) has not subsided. The number of confirmed cases increased sharply yesterday (17th) in Hong Kong. Eight of them have travelled abroad or returned to Hong Kong from overseas, bringing a total of 168 local cases (167 confirmed cases and 1 suspected case). From last night to early morning, many flights from Europe and the United States returned to Hong Kong. Some people reported symptoms of new coronary pneumonia after landing and were sent to different hospitals for isolation and diagnosis. As of 4 am, a total of 22 people were admitted to the hospital. The government issued a red outbound travel warning to the world yesterday, urging Hong Kong people to cancel outbound travel. After midnight tonight, Hong Kong residents and tourists who arrived in Hong Kong from overseas countries or territories will be subject to "compulsory quarantine". There are detailed instructions. The man returned to Hong Kong from London on March 15 and reported wearing a mask during his stay and during the flight.

The second case was a 28-year-old man who is now hospitalized at Nethersole Hospital in Tai Po and has symptoms such as cough and headache. He has been to France and Austria from February 19 to March 14; March 14 Pass Bangkok and return to Hong Kong on the 15th.

The third case was a 34-year-old man who was admitted to Ruttonjee Hospital and had previously visited Germany and Spain. The fourth case was a 36-year-old man who was admitted to the Eastern Hospital and had visited Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands.
