Wiam Al-Qusari, Director of the Fund’s Branch, explained in a statement to the SANA Economic Bulletin that the priority of granting loans to the wounded, the families of martyrs, families displaced from displacement, the poorest families, individuals who work temporary or seasonal work, groups with disabilities, families headed by women and the category of entrepreneurs, pointing out that the work of the Fund and its projects included Lattakia countryside, Qardaha, Al-Hafah and Jableh.

Al-Qusayri indicated that loans are granted through the branches of the Agricultural Cooperative Bank in Latakia, Jableh, Qirdahah, Haffa, Qutubiyah and Daliyah, in two installments, the value of the first installment is 50 percent of the total loan, and it is delivered after making sure of the project's readiness to receive the installations and equipment to be funded according to a sensory statement carried out by a specialized committee. Delivery of the second installment, amounting to 50 percent of the loan amount, after verifying the installation of equipment and equipment at the project site.

In turn, Souad Habib Ibrahim, mother of three children from the village of Al Qasabia in the countryside of Jableh, expressed her happiness with the success she achieved in the sewing project about a year ago, which provided additional income to help her and her family in meeting the increasing life requirements, indicating that she learned the sewing profession and was unable to work because of the lack of capital to buy The equipment went to the Aid Fund Center in Lattakia and received funding that helped her start up her project.

Ibrahim indicated that she is working to expand her project, which includes two sewing machines and a plotter machine and help her in working with two girls, to increase production and provide job opportunities for rural women, explaining that she has created a special page to display her products through social media in addition to cooperating with a number of clothing stores and wholesale stores to dispose of their goods.
