At 8.52 this morning, a fatal traffic accident occurred at 77 Peak Road, The Peak. At the time of the incident, a 54-year-old foreign man went down the mountain with a friend on a bicycle. During the incident, the victim suddenly lost control and crossed the opposite line, colliding head-on with a light-duty truck. The bicycle man's head was severely wounded and he died on the spot. The police investigated the cause of the accident at the scene. The friend's fellow foreign friends and the truck driver involved remained at the scene for investigation. Affected by the accident, Peak Road is currently one-way and two-way traffic.

The victim's foreign friends stated that he and the deceased set off from Shouchen Mountain this morning and returned home after stepping on the top of the mountain. On the way back, the foreign friend took the lead, the victim adjourned, and the two descended at a slow speed. A friend heard a noise and turned his head, but when he did not see the victim approaching, when he turned to look for the victim, he found that he had fallen to the ground. The Italian famous brand Bianchi bicycle left by the deceased had an electronic taximeter on it indicating that it had traveled 13.7 kilometers at that time.

The reporter saw at the site that there was dense fog on the Peak Road and the ground was slippery. It was unknown whether the accident was related to the relationship between the rain and the sky.
