Zhang Jianzong said that the retail industry subsidy plan allocated 5.6 billion yuan, and 70,000 retail stores are expected to benefit. Each eligible retailer can receive a one-off 80,000 yuan subsidy. He said that the application will be accepted from tomorrow (23rd) for a period of three weeks to April 12. Zhang explained that the retail industry itself is not a regulated industry, nor does it have a licensing system. Under the plan, a qualified retailer must be a merchant who sells physical goods to the general public for personal or household consumption or use.
