The girl had been buried under rubble on Sunday. It is the only known victim of the quake.
A total of 26 people were injured, 17 of them seriously, as Interior Minister Davor Bozinovic said. Damage was done to 250 buildings, including hospitals and the famous cathedral in the city center.
