Erding - He was a chef, chef, volunteer table helper, enthusiastic singer and, until its dissolution, chairman of the automobile and motorsport club Erding: Fritz Martinetz. At the beginning of March, the Erdinger died four days before his 77th birthday after a long illness, but unexpectedly.

Martinetz was born in Oschersleben in 1943, later moved to Kelheim with his parents and spent his childhood there. At the age of 13 he came to boarding school in Munich, where he graduated from the commercial school and the hotel management school. He then trained as a cook in Siegen. In 1963 Martinetz came to Erding with the Bundeswehr. Here he met his wife Gerda, born Heigl. They married in 1965. In 1972 Martinetz became the tenant of the authorities' canteen in the air base, which he ran until 1999. He then worked as a chef at Fischer's senior center until he retired.

Martinetz already became a member of the Erding automobile club in 1967, at that time chaired by Norbert Seidl, the former head of Bartolith Werke Erding. Seidl quickly recognized Martinetz's abilities and appointed him to the board, where he worked in various positions for decades. After the death of Dr. Lotte Morasch took over the chairmanship in 2013 and carried it out with a lot of energy and energy until the club was dissolved in 2017.

Martinetz was not only active in the automobile club. For 17 years he was a member of the board of the hotel and restaurant association in the district and worked with expertise for the needs of the restaurateurs. He was also active on the committee of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Munich.

He also showed his willingness to help at the Tafel Erding, where he was employed as a driver in the goods collection service. Martinetz was also active musically. He was a member of the Erding Liedertafel, the Vinzenz Chor and the Erdinger Seemannschor.

For many years he actively shot at the Edelweiß shooting club and was particularly proud when his granddaughter Sophie became shooting queen in 2019. Martinetz worked in the house and garden until the end on March 3rd, when his strength was exhausted and he was allowed to sleep peacefully. Fritz Martinetz leaves his wife Gerda and daughter Sabine with family. His 99-year-old mother also grieves for her son.

The requiem and the urn burial in the St. Paul cemetery in Erding will take place at a later date.
