To mitigate the economic impact that the coronavirus pandemic is generating in the soccer clubs of America, Conmebol announced this Thursday that it will advance payments to the teams that are participating in the Copa Libertadores or Sudamericana. The agency indicated in a statement that these clubs "may request an exceptional advance of up to 60% of the participation rights", to allow them to plan their financial needs with greater guarantees.
