The country is affected by a Mediterranean air depression starting from tomorrow and continuing until Monday evening, accompanied by sporadic rainy precipitation that is heavy on the coastal areas and the island, and a decrease in temperatures, while remaining within its rates, to start from Tuesday evening. The country was affected by the first five-year low for this season and continues on Thursday.
Meteorologist Maher Merhej told SANA that starting from tomorrow morning, the country will be affected by a Mediterranean depression that will continue to affect on Monday evening, where rain is expected in the form of showers accompanied by thunderstorms and hailstones, sometimes heavy in mainly coastal areas, the island region and some northern and central regions. Continuously with a short interruption, which may lead to the formation of torrents, indicating that the abundance will be more on Saturday and Sunday, until Monday morning.
Merhej pointed out that the southern region will be affected by rain showers in the form of light and sporadic showers, but it is the least affected area, due to the fact that the direction of the air depression coming from the Mediterranean towards the northern half of the country is associated with a decrease in temperature, but warm due to the spring.
And Merhej indicated that from Monday evening to Tuesday evening, a period of relative stability is partly cloudy and cloudy, in order for the country to be affected by the first five-year low depression for this season, “spring depressions” that are currently formed from its sources in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, and its introduction is a dusty nebula. Significant heat, especially in the southern and eastern regions, to begin on Wednesday, heavy rains, which will be at first clay and continue accompanied by thunderstorms in the coastal, desert and island regions, and include most regions.
