(CNN) - Netflix, teleconferencing and online college classes are part of the Obama family's daily life during their coronavirus self-quarantine, Michelle Obama told Ellen DeGeneres in a televised phone call posted on Twitter.

Obama told DeGeneres that something good can come out of the coronavirus crisis, at least on a personal level.
"But on the bright side, I know that for us, it has forced us to keep sitting with each other, have real conversations, really ask ourselves questions and figure out how to keep ourselves busy without just television or computers," he said. "It's a good exercise to remind ourselves that we just don't need many of the things that we do have."
