According to the New York Times, the United States has surpassed China in the number of coronavirus infections, reaching 81,321 cases, including more than a thousand deaths, shattering the numbers of China, Italy or any other country, according to the data it collected.

In turn, the British government announced that 115 people died in the country today after being infected with the Corona virus, bringing the total number of deaths to 578 people, while the number of confirmed cases reached 11,658, up from 9,529 yesterday.

For its part, the Turkish health authorities announced that the death toll of Corona has risen to 75 people, with 16 new deaths recorded, while the death toll has increased to 3 thousand and 629 cases during the past 24 hours.

In Greece, the health authorities announced that 71 cases of HIV infection and 4 deaths were registered in the country, bringing the total number of people infected to 892, and the death toll to 26.

In turn, the Egyptian Ministry of Health announced that it had registered 39 new cases of coronavirus and three deaths, bringing the total to 495 cases, including 24 deaths.

The ministry said in a statement that 102 of the total injured recovered from the disease and were discharged from the Quarantine Hospital.

In Jordan, the Ministry of Health announced the increase in the number of infections in Corona to 212 after recording 40 new injuries, 26 of them from Irbid Governorate, while the Jordanian Minister of State for Information Affairs Amjad Al-Adayleh announced the isolation of Irbid from the rest of the regions and governorates of the country.

To that, the Lebanese Prime Minister, Hassan Diab, issued a decision calling for additional measures to be taken in the context of toughening measures to combat the Corona epidemic, which included the suspension of work between 7 pm and 5 am in all shops and manufacturing, storage and sale of foodstuffs of all kinds except for mills, ovens, pharmacies and factories that Produce medical supplies and prevent going out into the streets from tomorrow.
