The Chief Executive, Mrs Carrie Lam, has announced a number of new measures, which will be implemented mainly at two times. Starting from 6 pm, restaurants are limited to four people per seat, and open seats do not exceed 50% of the entire restaurant. Diners need to wear masks when they are not eating; gyms, theaters, and amusement centers, etc. also need to be closed for 14 days.
After midnight, crowds of more than 4 people will be banned. Except for the 12 scenarios where exemptions are granted, a fine of 2,000 yuan may be imposed, and a maximum fine of 50,000 yuan (50,000 yuan) and imprisonment for six months may be imposed.
