The coronavirus finally ended political confinement in Israel after three draws in less than a year. Except for a dramatic change, Benyamin Nétanyahou has succeeded in his goals: staying in power, despite three charges of corruption, fraud and breach of trust. His other success is to have provoked the implosion of Bleu et Blanc, the main centrist opposition party led by Benny Gantz.

This former chief of staff, who campaigned on the slogan " all except Bibi ", finally had to accept, willy-nilly, to participate in a " national emergency government " under the leadership of his arch-rival. This cabinet is to be presented next week. But the rallying of Benny Gantz immediately provoked a split within Bleu et Blanc: 18 of the 33 deputies (out of the 120 in Parliament) refused to follow him, accusing him of " crawling " in front of Benjamin Netanyahu and d 'thus' betrayed ' the voters.
