US President Donald Trump on Friday telephoned British Prime Minister Boris Johnson for a " speedy recovery ", who said he had been infected with the coronavirus.

" The president thanked the Prime Minister for his friendship and wished him a speedy recovery, " said Judd Deere, spokesman for the White House.
The two leaders pledged to work " closely ", as well as with the G7 and G20, to " defeat the coronavirus pandemic and support the global economy ," he added.
