West Kowloon Opera Centre Atrium Closes Tonight
Sik Sik Yuen's Wong Tai Sin Temple said today (28th) that the new crown pneumonia epidemic situation is now entering a very critical moment. In view of the critical time in the next two weeks, it will be announced that it will be temporarily closed for 14 days starting next Monday (30th). On April 12, to reduce the risk of epidemic spread, all religious activities will be cancelled during the period, while other services including medical, emergency services and social service units will continue to maintain limited services. However, Sik Sik Yuen Western Medical Clinic, Dentist Clinic, Physical Therapy Centre and Traditional Chinese Medicine Service Centre will continue to maintain daytime services, but night clinic hours will be suspended.
The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority also announced today that in order to support the government's temporary measures in response to the current public health emergency, the Xiqu Central Atrium and the blank Livehouse in Free Space will be closed for 14 days starting at 6pm tonight. The Xiqu Centre and the Ticket Office of Free Space will adopt the same arrangement, while the ticket purchase hotline will continue to maintain service.
