No course takes place, everything was reduced in times of Corona. Vhs Dachau is now offering an online program. Everything for those hungry for education
Dachau - The Dachau Adult Education Center, together with other Bavarian adult education centers, offers a free online program entitled "vhs.daheim".
Lectures and simple courses streamed over the Internet are designed to enrich everyday life at home. Cooking courses for children, functional gymnastics, lectures on Bavarian history or small live concerts should make it possible to continue to participate in social life. With speakers and course leaders from various programs at Bavarian adult education centers, such as astrophysicist Dr. Andreas Müller, the SZ journalist Felicitas Wilke or the cabaret artist Thomas Mayer have developed an extensive program.
“Social distance is the order of the day - two meters away, touching taboo and everyone at home. The Vhs also has to interrupt their program - we couldn't be any further away from our actual task, ”said Vhs spokeswoman Ksenija Pointner. "As dramatic and tragic as the current situation is, it also opens up a space for all of us to experiment and gain new inspiration."
According to Vhs Dachau, the online program should be a first step in order to continue to offer the participants the opportunity to get information and to get to know the many new digital offers.
Pointner: "Have a look at the internet pages of your community college in the district, we regularly update and expand our online program vhs.daheim." Dn
