Italy has crossed the threshold of ten thousand deaths due to the emerging Corona virus "Covid 19" after registering 889 new deaths during the past twenty-four hours.
The Italian health authorities said in an official statistic today, quoted by Agence France-Presse, that the total number of deaths due to the virus in the country rose to 10023, and the number of confirmed infections rose to 92,472, compared to a recovery of 12,384.
While the number of deaths due to corona in Turkey rose to 108 after 16 deaths were recorded today.
Turkey also recorded an increase in the number of confirmed cases of the virus to 7402, after 1704 new cases were recorded during the past 24 hours.
In Tunisia, the director of health in the governorate of Sfax Ali El Ayadi announced today that the results of analyzes of samples taken for a person who died two days ago proved that he was infected with the Corona virus, which raises the number of deaths in the country to 8 cases.
The Tunisian Ministry of Health announced last Friday that it had registered 30 new cases of the new virus, bringing the total number of infected people in the country to 227.

Libya also recorded three confirmed cases of the virus.
