Update from March 15, 2020, 7 p.m .: Everything looks like a landslide victory for Florian Hartmann (SPD) in Dachau. Interim result: 75 percent after 10 of 60 voting districts. Seven candidates will run for the office of district administrator in the Bavaria 2020 local elections. It is quite possible that none of the district council candidates will receive the required majority of more than 50 percent of the votes in the first ballot. The incumbent district administrator is 46-year-old Stefan Löwl from the CSU . In 2014 he was elected for the first time in a short run-off election and will stand for re-election in 2020. His challengers are Hubert Böck (54, SPD), Achim Liebl (60, Greens), Damar Wagner (49, Free Voters), Sebastian Leiß (30, Free Voters), Jonathan Westermeier (27, Die Linke) and Hauke Stöwsand (44 , ÖDP).

Local council election and district council election 2020 in Dachau
The district council takes care of common concerns of the municipalities in the district, which they cannot do financially or personally.
