The press service of the Russian Biomedical Agency announced that it had provided a drug to treat the Corona virus on the basis of the anti-malarial drug, mefloquine.
"Based on Chinese and French experience, I have developed a treatment regimen for coronavirus infection on the basis of the anti-malarial drug mefloquine," Sputnik said, citing the agency.
The agency suggested to the Russian Ministry of Health to include the treatment system in the plan to combat the Corona virus.
And Russian scientists announced a few days ago that a prototype vaccine can be created for the Corona virus within three months, considering that the rapid development of such a vaccine requires an adequate level of funding.
