In the municipality of Kottgeisering, so-called children's signs on the side of the road have been telling drivers to pay attention to their speed and not to drive too fast through the town - for the sake of children.

Kottgeisering– Now, in times of crisis, the wooden displays have been given a second task: on the initiative of Kirstin Kortländer and Michael Pütz, who also started the campaign with the children's signs at the time, the figures now hold signs in their hands that call for cohesion. For example, "Zam hoifa & gsund bleim" is written on a sign. Another reads "Together we can do it". The next figure wishes "All the best & stays healthy". In addition, the hashtag "wir Gegencorona" is always used.

The children's signs, placed on the roadside, in public places and in private gardens, are affectionately called "KiSchi" in Kottgeisering. Following the example of the community, such signs can now be found in many other places.

Kortländer now had the idea to set an example: for solidarity with the local people, but also in other countries, for cohesion and mutual support.

With a self-designed sign (sayings) can be attached to the children's figures. Kirstin Kortländer asks the children and families of the place to make a sign with a saying together and then put it on their own wooden figure or one in a public place. Everyone should then take a picture of the finished work and email it to kirstin. Send kortleander@gmx.net or mpuetz3@gmx.de. zag
