The number of dead from Corona in the United States today climbed sharply to 1,711 and the number of infections has crossed the threshold of the 100th century and now stands at 105,726, the largest number of infections in any country in the world.

While the Pentagon is preparing a budget for National Guard forces, which say to help authorities enforce the state's corona closure, and Congress is struggling to approve funding for the drastic measures, New York State doctors are protesting for equipment shortages, too.

Doctors in cities severely affected by the virus such as New York, Orlando and Detroit say they are severely deficient drug paraphernalia, protective masks and CPR machines and hospitals "are pushing to the limit."

Nurses at the Jacobson Medical Center in the Bronx district of New York have come out to protest against authorities, according to Deborah, for the deep shortage. Some held signs that said "Protect our lives while we save yours".

"These masks should be for one-time use, suddenly the Center for Infectious Diseases than reusing them. These are not decisions that are made on the basis of scientific or medical knowledge, but on the basis of need and scarcity.

A doctor at New York Presbyterian Hospital told Reuters that only one protective mask was assigned to each employee at the hospital. "We were told that this is our mask from here on out. The people who make these decisions are not the people who have to go to the patients' rooms," the doctor added.

Doctors are especially concerned about the ongoing shortage of respirators, dedicated drugs, painkillers and oxygen tanks. The New York state's chief executive today announced that the cost of CPR machines has almost doubled in the past day, rising to $ 45,000 per unit.
