The incumbent district administrator Josef Niedermaier can no longer be denied the victory. It is currently 63.0 percent (84 out of 88 counties).

7:59 p.m., Lenggries: A high turnout is recorded in the mayoral runoff election in Lenggries. 72.64 percent of the 8016 eligible voters took part. Markus Landthaler (FW) received 3779 votes, and Wolfgang Morlang (Bayern party) in 1985.

7.46 p.m., district: The election victory of Josef Niedermaier (free voters) can no longer be shaken. After counting 77 out of 88 voting districts, he is 63.1 percent ahead of challenger Anton Demmel (CSU) and can therefore prepare for his third term.

19:35, district: The results from the cities of Bad Tölz and Geretsried are now available for the district election. In Bad Tölz, Josef Niedermaier (FW) achieved 70.95 percent, Anton Demmel (CSU) 29.05. In Geretsried, Niedermaier's lead is a little closer - but still clear enough. The incumbent district administrator receives 54.7 percent in Geretsried, Demmel has 45.3 percent.

7:27 p.m., Lenggries: The mayor runoff in Lenggries is now fully counted. The bottom line was a clear thing: Markus Landthaler (FW) becomes mayor. He gets 65.6 percent of the vote. Wolfgang Morlang (Bavarian party) has to be satisfied with 34.4 percent.

7:18 p.m., Wolfratshausen: In the rafting town, incumbent Klaus Heilinglechner (BVW) can probably continue. The mayor has 55.62 percent of the vote after 8 of the 11 counties counted. That is significantly more votes than challenger Günther Eibl (CSU, 44.38 percent).

7:12 p.m., Lenggries: In Lenggries, Markus Landthaler (Free Voters) will no longer be able to take the victory in the mayoral runoff. After counting the first five of seven voting districts, Landthaler continues to lead with 67.5 percent and thus a clear lead over Wolfgang Morlang (Bavarian party).

7:09 p.m., Bad Heilbrunn: In Bad Heilbrunn, 59.5 percent of the voters in the district election run-off made their cross with Josef Niedermaier, 40.5 percent expressed their confidence in Anton Demmel (CSU). It is one of Niedermaier's weaker results in the communities - but still clear.

According to the current interim status, incumbent Josef Niedermaier (FW) is in the lead with 65.7 percent. Anton Demmel is down with 34.3 percent.
