+++ Update +++

16:39, Moosburg: The runoff election campaign in Moosburg has heated up: A Facebook debate escalated between the city councilors Evelin Altenbeck (Greens) and Rudolf Heinz (CSU).

3:12 pm, Zolling: The local elections took place under the influence of Corona. This particularly affected one of the candidates for mayor: Zollinger Markus Staudt (CSU). Since March 9th - tested positive for Covid-19 - in the Clinic Freising. In the runoff, he competes against Helmut Priller (UBZ).

Update March 29, 2:26 p.m .: Robert Wäger is following the election today from a special perspective : The Greens' candidate landed third in the district election on March 15 with 20.9 percent - just exactly two percent behind Helmut Petz (22nd , 9 percent). Wäger received 16 378 votes, Petz 17 960 - just 1582 more. But that is already a history of local politics. In addition to Helmut Petz, the focus is now on Manuel Mück, the CSU man who achieved 26.1 percent, meaning that none of the candidates broke the 30 percent mark - and if you want to become a district administrator, you need a lot of votes from other candidates' camps, for example Birgit Mooser-Niefanger (FSM, 15.5 percent). A victory for Manuel Mück would mean that the post of district administrator will remain with the CSU after Josef Hauner's departure. Should Helmut Petz become a district administrator, that would be a kind of recapture: before the current incumbent Hauner, Michael Schwaiger and Manfred Pointner were already two party-free parties in the executive chair of the district office.
