7:53 p.m., Unterhaching: Wolfgang Panzer wins with 66.6%.

7.50 p.m., Feldkirchen: After four out of six counted areas, Andreas Janson (UWV) should slowly be certain of victory. He clearly leads with 60.4 percent against Christian Wilhelm, who is running for the SPD.

7:48 p.m., Haar: Andreas Bukowski (CSU) tilts mayor Gabriele Müller (SPD) out of office in Haar - after 60 years of SPD rule in what was once red hair. He got a lead of 301 votes, came to 51.5 percent.

7:38 p.m., Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn: The CSU mayor candidate watches the counting of the polling stations at home on the laptop. A result is still pending. But Roland Spingler is significantly behind.

7:33 p.m., Garching: Dietmar Gruchmann (SPD) defends the mayor's office in Garching. He didn't really have to worry. The SPD candidate won 60.4 percent of the vote in the runoff election, CSU challenger Jürgen Ascherl 39.6 percent.

19:32, Aying: Peter Wagner becomes mayor of Aying. The CSU man narrowly prevailed against Hermann Oswald (PWG) with 1524 to 1441 votes. Official results are not yet available as a percentage. According to calculations by the editors, Wagner should have won 51.4 percent of the vote.

7.30 p.m., Hair: Hair is so scarce. But it is becoming apparent that Gabriele Müller (SPD) will probably lose her position to Andreas Bukowski (CSU). After 17 out of 20 areas, it holds 51.3 percent of the vote.

7:22 p.m., Schäftlarn: Final result in Schäftlarn: Christian Fürst (CSU) becomes mayor! With 51.7 percent, he narrowly prevails against Marcel Tonnar (Greens).

7:20 p.m., Unterhaching: After almost half of the quick reports, Unterhaching looks good for incumbent Wolfgang Panzer (SPD): At 67.8 percent, he is clearly ahead of the green Armin Konetschny.

19:16, Oberschleissheim: sensational victory in Schleißheim: CSU whiz Markus Böck wins 54.1 percent of the vote and displaces incumbent Christian Kuchlbauer (FW).

7.15 p.m., Neubiberg: The pulse of Thomas Pardeller (CSU) should slowly calm down in Neubiberg. After seven out of twelve counted areas, 55.6 percent of the votes are an increasingly comfortable cushion on Kilian grains (greens).

7:13 p.m., Oberschleissheim: In Oberschleissheim, after eight out of 10 counted districts, only a huge surprise can prevent Markus Böck (CSU) 's sensational victory against Mayor Christian Kuchlbauer (FW). The incumbent currently only gets 45.5 percent of the vote.

7.10 p.m., Haar: Andreas Bukowski (CSU) leads in Haar after 13 of 20 voting districts with 51 percent! After 60 years of SPD rule in the town hall of Haar, a change is in the offing.

October 19, Garching: In Garching, incumbent Dietmar Gruchmann (SPD) leads after 12 of 20 polling stations with 61.4 percent compared to Jürgen Ascherl from the CSU.

7:08 p.m., Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn: If Konwitschny really wins in Höhenkirchen, Herbert Reisnecker can also be happy: He would then move up for Mindy Konwitschny as a municipal councilor.

18:58, Neubiberg: 3 out of 12 constituencies are counted - Thomas Pardeller (CSU) with 56.5% before Kilian Körner (Greens) with 43.5%.

6:58 p.m., Schäftlarn : In Schäftlarn, after a quarter of the electoral districts, Christian Fürst (CSU) is ahead of Marcel Tonnar (Greens) with 54.5 percent of the vote.

6.55 p.m., Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn: 6 out of 9 restaurants are counted - Konwitschny at 63.7 percent.

6:52 p.m., Haar: Bukowski extends his lead after the 2nd voting area.

6:52 p.m., Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn: 4 out of 9 postal polling stations are counted: Konwitschny extends lead over Spingler. It is now 64.3 percent. Spingler: 35.7.

18.51, Oberschleissheim: In Oberschleissheim it looks as if incumbent Christian Kuchlbauer had to surprisingly vacate his post. After counting five out of ten voting districts, his CSU opponent Markus Böck is clearly ahead with 55.6 percent.

6.48 p.m., Haar: In Haar after the first voting district: Bukowski (CSU) leads with 50.4 percent ahead of Gabriele Müller (SPD) with 49.6 percent.

6.47 p.m., Neubiberg: Thomas Pardeller (CSU) leads with 54.6 percent after two of 12 counts.

6.46 p.m., Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn : A polling station is counted. Mindy Konwitschny (SPD) leads with 62.6 percent.

6.42 p.m., District Office: 15 out of 240 constituencies have already been counted. Christoph Göbel (CSU) with 65.3 percent has a clear lead over Christoph Nadler (Greens) with 34.7 percent.

18:33, Garching: The first constituency is counted. The result: Jürgen Ascherl (CSU) got 154 votes, Dietmar Gruchmann (SPD) got 231.

6:29 pm, Unterschleissheim: The largest municipality in the district, the city of Unterschleissheim reports over 14,000 election documents received, that is over 63 percent.

2020 local elections: run-off elections in the Munich district - district and mayor elections

District election: incumbent Christoph Göbel (CSU) and challenger Christoph Nadler (Greens) compete against each other. Christoph Göbel emerged as the favorite from the first ballot on March 15.

Local election 2020 in Bavaria: runoff election and information

In the runoff election two weeks after the first ballot of the Bavarian local election, the voters finally decide between two candidates.
