The number of infected people and deaths is increasing as a result of the spread of the new Corona virus, as countries continue to take more precautions in anticipation of its spread more widely.

According to a tally prepared by the French Press Agency, so far, more than 667 thousand and ninety people have been infected in 183 countries and territories since the virus appeared in December in China, while 31,412 people have died from it.

In this context, the Iraqi Ministry of Health announced the registration of a new death case of the Corona virus in Diyala, while 41 new cases of the virus were recorded, bringing the total of those infected in Iraq to 547 cases.

For its part, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced that the number of people infected with the Corona virus increased to 438 cases, an increase of 26 cases from yesterday, and it announced the death of two patients suffering from chronic diseases, both in the eight decade of life.

And the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced that 20 new cases of coronavirus were registered in the country, bringing the total number of infections to 255, while in Saudi Arabia four new deaths were recorded, bringing the number to eight deaths, as well as 96 new infections, bringing the total to 1299.

Mauritania announced the closure of the city of Kaedi in the south of the country after the discovery of an infection with the Coronavirus.

In Iran, a spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, Kyanosh Jahanpur, announced that the number of infections in Koruna has reached 38,309 as of noon today, while 2,640 people have died and 12,391 people have recovered so far.

In Europe, Spain woke up in the third week of the spread of the Corona virus amid a near-complete closure today as the government met to agree to strengthen precautionary measures, while the number of deaths due to the Corona virus reached 838 cases last night, bringing the total deaths to 6528.

Thus, Spain ranked second in the world in the number of deaths, after Italy.

In addition, the 86-year-old Spanish princess, Maria Teresa, of the Royal Bourbon Parma family, was declared dead by the emerging Corona virus, becoming the first member of the royal family around the world to lose his life due to the deadly virus.

For its part, the Swiss Ministry of Public Health said that the number of deaths due to the Corona virus reached 257 people, bringing the number of infected cases to 14336.

Denmark recorded 194 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total to 2,395, while 257 new cases of coronavirus were registered in Norway, bringing the total to 4,102 infected people.

Health authorities in Sweden registered 253 new cases of the Coronavirus, bringing the number to 3,700, while the number of deaths rose to 771 after recording 132 deaths.

The British Ministry of Health has announced 209 new deaths from coronavirus infection, bringing the total to 1,228 deaths.

In East Asia, the Philippine Ministry of Health announced 343 new cases of coronavirus infection, which constitutes the largest daily increase in addition to the death of three other cases, bringing the total number of registered infections to 1418 and deaths to 71.

Malaysia recorded 150 new infections with the Coruna virus today, bringing the total number of infections to 2470, the highest number of infection in Southeast Asia, while the number of deaths due to the virus increased to 34 after recording seven new deaths.

And the Singapore Ministry of Health announced that 42 new cases of coronavirus were registered today, bringing the total number to 844 and the third recorded death from the virus.

In Africa, the Ethiopian Ministry of Health announced 3 new infections with the Corona virus, bringing the total to 19, while 4 new cases were recorded in Djibouti, bringing the total to 18 cases. The Senegalese Ministry of Health reported 12 new cases of the virus, bringing the total number to 142 cases.

Ghana's health service also announced today that HIV cases rose to 152 as 11 new cases were confirmed, while Cameroonian Public Health Minister Manoda Malachi said through his Twitter account that his country today recorded 14 new cases of the virus, bringing the total number of infected to 113.

Uruguay, in turn, confirmed its first death from the Corona virus, with a total infection rate of more than 300.
