Anyone who did not comply with the confinement rules was liable to a ticket of 135 euros. But that has changed since today. Being outside without a special certificate or not respecting the additional measures imposed by the prefecture, such as the curfew time, will now cost you 200 euros.

The government had promised tougher measures to push the French to stay at home. A decree published in the Official Journal on Sunday March 29 stipulates an increase in the simple fine to 200 euros and increased to 450 euros against 375 before.
