To prevent corona virus, Bilal recommended pregnant women to increase the body’s immunity through a healthy and varied diet rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, especially vitamin A, C, E and D, and calcium, preferring to eat citrus fruits, broccoli, garlic, spinach, yogurt, and lots of fluids, especially green tea, that contribute to strengthening the immune system and fighting diseases.

The gynecologist stressed the need for pregnant women to communicate with their own doctor as soon as they feel symptoms such as high temperature, coughing, difficulty breathing, or contact with people with respiratory illnesses warning against taking any medication or drug without medical advice.

And on the precautionary measures that should be followed in private clinics, the obstetrician and gynecologist Dr. Mays Hayek mentioned the necessity to adhere to specific times for each patient and to limit themselves to emergency cases to alleviate congregations, periodic sterilization, good ventilation, doctors wear gags and do not shake hands.

Hayek called for not leaving the house except in cases of extreme necessity and not mixing with others or being in places of gathering and crowding, and avoiding touching the nose and mouth except after making sure of the cleanliness of the hands and completely changing clothes upon return and washing hands with soap and water for a period of 20 seconds.
