Meanwhile, the war for toilet paper is raging in Germany. This was going too far for a Pullacher Edeka boss - he is taking drastic measures against toilet paper hamsters and the subsequent usury sale on the Internet.

Peter Demmelmair is a pastor and head of the Bad Tölz parish association. Due to the current situation, services are no longer held in the churches. Therefore, Demmelmair is now addressing all believers this weekend - with a view to this Sunday - and encourages you to go to prayer. Media services are also offered for this.

In the course of the exit restrictions in Bavaria, you can read the wording of the general decree of the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior here.

Corona crisis in the regions - the situation last week

In the Fürstenfeldbruck district, young people celebrated a corona party at Mammendorfer See. Instead of avoiding social contacts, many teenagers are currently meeting in large groups to counteract the boredom that arises from the lack of school and extra-curricular activities. This causes misunderstanding in the communities.

In the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district, supermarkets are also feeling the effects of the corona crisis: rushing for pasta and toilet paper is now part of everyday life here. Business is already drawing consequences from this.

Coronavirus in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district: Before Ischgl became a risk area, the Bayersoier sports club traveled to the village for a ski trip. Now the participants are rushed via WhatsApp. A press conference on the Oberammergau Passion Play will also take place in Oberammergau this Thursday. Rehearsals for the festival, which takes place only every ten years, have already been interrupted. However, the premiere has not yet been canceled.

Dining in the regions: Where the needy can still find help in times of Corona

There is also a dramatic situation in the counties that distribute food to people in need. Not only do they often belong to the risk group - the constant hamster purchases also mean that there is not enough food left over for the food.

In the district of Bad-Tölz-Wolfratshausen, the tables in the respective municipalities deal with the Corona crisis quite differently. Some close, some don't - here is an overview.

It is the same in most other regions. In the district of Freising, for example, the table in the district town closes for the time being - but will remain in Hallbergmoos for the time being. Just like the blackboard in Poing (district Ebersberg). However, the Tafel in Dachau has also decided to forego spending on the needy until the crisis flattens out.

In the meantime, the RVO, whose buses are used by public transport in many southern counties, is also reacting: the RVO buses continue - tickets are no longer required.

The first non-EU citizens are turned away at Munich Airport. In the northern district of Freising, hop growers are desperately looking for seasonal workers.

In Garmisch-Partenkirchen , many still couldn't believe their eyes at the weekend. Despite impressive warnings from doctors and the government, the Zugspitz ski area experienced a veritable mass rush on the last day before the closure. A photo shows the line of skiers crowded together in front of the cash register.

Coronavirus crisis in Upper Bavaria plates under special pressure

And heroes abound in this crisis. Neighborhood help in the Dachau district supports shopping. In Erding , the board had to come up with creative ideas in order to be able to provide for the needy. The table in Freising has to close because of Corona. The corona virus also casts its shadows at the airport. Munich Airport looked extinct on Tuesday. Swept empty and incredibly quiet. We checked around the airport.
