Argentina has announced an extension of the mandatory quarantine period of 14 days to counter the emerging Coronavirus, which has infected 820 people in the country and has killed 20 others since the beginning of this month.
"The decision we have taken is to extend the quarantine until Easter day, on the recommendation of experts, in order to continue to control the transmission of the virus," AFP quoted President Alberto Fernandez as saying today.
And he added: "It is a war against an invisible army that attacks us in places that we do not expect at times."
