Summary :
Professor Didier Raoult is one of the best virology specialists in France. He was part of the scientific council of Emmanuel Macron, until he decided to stay in the background.
The authorities have chosen not to screen Covid-19 on a large scale, and recall that there is currently no specific treatment. The infectious disease specialist, convinced that he had discovered the remedy for the coronavirus, did the opposite. He invites everyone to come and get free screening at the Institut hospitalo-universitaire (IHU) Méditerranée Infection, in Marseille, of which he is director. And he gives his patients chloroquine (more specifically, one of its derivatives, hydroxychloroquine), in combination with the only antibiotic that works on viruses, azithromycin.
Source code paints a portrait and tells of its standoff with the government. Episode told by four journalists from Le Parisien, Frédéric Mouchon, Nicolas Berrod, Pauline Théveniaud and Florence Méréo.
