1:52 pm: Luitgard Dirrigl took part in a special exchange experiment with a colleague. The traditional dressmaker, who works in a Tölz shop, worked for a few days in Scotland in a tartan skirt tailoring. What she experienced in the process can be seen on BR television at 8:15 p.m. today.

13:57: Many local dairy farmers supply the dairy Berchtesgadener Land. The Pidingen-based company processes the entire milk volume of its 1,700 farmers despite the Corona crisis. "In this way we secure the supply of the population, the jobs of the employees and the income of the farmers", says a message. The latter is not a matter of course in times when the breakdown of entire sales markets at other dairies means that they can only process part of the milk and have to sell the rest on the free milk market as raw milk: "Regionality brings stability." According to the announcement, it works all processes along the supply chain from milk collection, production and finally delivery are flawless. However, the increased demand - especially for milk and butter - sometimes leads to bottlenecks in retail. The dairy reacts with extended shifts. As Managing Director Gerhard Pointner explains, the crisis clearly shows "how vulnerable the globally networked economy is today". This should encourage politicians and society to check the raw material supply chains for vital products. The current situation shows how important food production is in one's own country.
12 o'clock: A little distraction from Corona can't hurt: The first episode of the new season of "Tonio & Julia" runs on Sunday at 8.15 p.m. on ZDF. During the past summer and autumn, most of the outdoor shots were shot here in Bad Tölz and the beautiful surroundings.
