The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) announced today that it has carried out a successful test of its massive multi-missile launchers.
The DPRK news agency stated that the Academy of Defense Sciences of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) conducted launch tests of massive multi-nozzle missile launchers to verify once again the tactical and technological specifications of the launch systems to be delivered to KPA units and that the experiment was successful.
She said that Ri Byung-chul, a member of the Political Bureau, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Labor Party, senior officials of the munitions industry of the Party's Central Committee, and other prominent officials in the field of national defense science research supervised the test.
The head of the General Staff of the Korean People's Army, Pak Jong-chun, confirmed last December that his country's defense experiments aim to curb and overcome the nuclear threat of the United States.
