Is the Assad regime trying to obscure the rate of infection in the country? • So far, 10 patients and two have been officially reported, but according to other publications - the numbers are higher

The Corona virus crisis has long been an accomplished fact around the world - and in the Arab world in particular. However, the data of the Arab and Muslim countries are limited, and even the official report of the World Health Organization presents the data from a group of countries with this comment - "in accordance with the data provided by the local health ministries".

One such example is Syria, where the Assad regime has so far admitted only ten patients and two dead, meaning that the death rate from Quran in the country stands at 20%.

These are very puzzling numbers in some respects, and it is mostly unclear why the Assad regime chooses to paralyze the country by imposing a closure when there are so few people clinging to it. It is known that the Syrian medical system is failing because of the civil war, but is it so difficult?

The extent of Shiite militia fighters led by former Quds Force commander Kassem Suleimani, and his successor Ismail Kahani is still "importing" to Syria - it is hard to take those numbers with limited liability.

The Syrian opposition reported that the country was battered by Corona long before Assad's regime admitted the first infections of the virus, and before the announcement of the first death of a woman who had turned out to be Corona blue after she died upon admission to hospital. In one report, it was already claimed that in Albochmale, a city in eastern Syria that is under the control of the Revolutionary Guards, some 212 Corona carriers have been diagnosed.

Now, the Syrian Center for Human Rights reports a major outbreak of the Corona virus among pro-Iranian militants in the city of Miyadin - about 80 kilometers north of Albochmal. The Iranian corona eruption, with an official quorum of 41,495 infected and 2,575 dead from Corona - is likely to be the source of contagion in fighters coming to the Quds Force-sponsored region.

"Citizens under the Assad regime are not satisfied with the treatment of the Corona virus," the Syrian Center for Human Rights said. "They fear the spread of the virus, as well as the effects of Damascus's concealment policy - all the more so when the health system is one of the worst in the Middle East."

The Syrian Center for Human Rights also received information about the extent of the Syrian civilians who are in isolation, with radically different data from those reported by the regime - at both the numbers and the geographical scope. More than 260 civilians are reported to be in isolation in Damascus, Aleppo, Latvia, Tartus, Homs, Hama and Dara.

The Assad regime's policy of concealing the extent of the deaths, according to the Syrian Center for Human Rights, is being carried out so that the cause of death is defined as "pneumonia."
