Hossein Watanpour, director general of the Office of Health Technology Development at the Iranian Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, announced the start of a clinical trial phase for a number of homemade medicines to treat the Corona virus.
Watan Pour said in a statement today that "a number of drugs proposed for the treatment of Corona disease have entered the stage of clinical testing currently provided that they enter the market after achieving the required results in the testing phase and obtaining the necessary licenses from the relevant authorities in the country."
He added that "Iranian scientists in knowledge companies in Iran are making unremitting efforts to find drugs to treat this virus."
The Iranian Assistant Minister of Health for Medical Affairs and Medical Education Qasim Jan Babai announced earlier today that Iran has passed the peak stage of the number of Coronavirus infections and its current trend towards a decrease in this number.
