Over three days, this daily balance remains between 722 and 766 deaths, while there were still 837 additional deaths Tuesday and 919 last Friday, the darkest day of the epidemic.
Italy now has 119,827 confirmed cases of SARS-CoV-2 contamination, an increase of 4,585 cases, just under 4% more in 24 hours.
Of this total, 19,758 people are declared totally cured (around 1,500 more than the day before). The country has 4,068 patients in intensive care, 15 more than the day before.
On a trend, the number of new infections remains included for the fifth day in a row between 4050 and 4782, tending to confirm the authorities' hope that the curve of the epidemic is at a plateau and that a reflux could follow in a near future.
A peak of new infections was reached on March 21 with 6,557 additional confirmed cases.
