Date of last update: 2020-04-04 02:10At about 3 am on Friday (April 3), a security guard at Discovery Bay received a report from the Lantau Police District, stating that a foreign man was found inside a golf cart outside Kang Hui Terrace. His track was suspicious and someone was suspected Attempting to steal a car, the other party fled after finding security.
The police officer intercepted the foreign man nearby and arrested him on suspicion of "illegal interference with the vehicle". After further investigation, he was found to be involved in a case of golf theft on March 30 in the district. The police do not rule out that the suspects are involved in more similar cases in the district, and the Criminal Division of the Lantau Police District has taken over to follow up.
