According to European official sources, France Press reported that the total death toll on the continent amounted to 40,768 deaths, in addition to 57,452 confirmed new cases, to keep Europe most affected by the epidemic, as Italy recorded 14,681 deaths compared to 10935 in Spain, which are the two countries most affected in this regard in the world.

For its part, France recorded 5387 deaths, an increase of 588 additional deaths during the past 24 hours, while the total confirmed cases in the country were 64,338.

In turn, Britain announced that 684 additional deaths were recorded in hospitals within one day, while the official toll of the injured rose to 38,168.

Britain had opened a large field hospital in central London to accommodate the rise in the number of patients.

For its part, the American Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that the number of deaths due to the virus in the country increased by 930 today, bringing the total to 5443, while the total confirmed cases reached 239 thousand and 279 cases, which is an increase of 26,135 cases from the census recorded yesterday.

In Egypt, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 120 new cases of the virus were recorded, in addition to 8 deaths, indicating that the total number of cases recorded rose to 985 and 66 deaths.

In turn, the official spokesman for the Corona Virus Follow-up Committee in Algeria announced that the number of deaths in the country had increased to 105 after 22 deaths during the past twenty-four hours, indicating that the number of new infections reached 185, which is the highest daily number since the beginning of the spread of the virus in Algeria, raising the total number For confirmed cases, 1171 cases were confirmed.

While the UAE Ministry of Health announced the monitoring of 240 new infections, which constitutes the largest daily increase in the number of people infected with the disease since the outbreak began in the country.

The ministry said in a statement that the new cases were identified by examining contacts of injured people previously announced, bringing the number of diagnosed infections to 1264, while the death toll from the virus increased to 9 cases.

In addition, the Turkish Ministry of Health said that it recorded 69 new deaths from the virus, bringing the total number of victims in the country to 425, while the number of infected persons increased by 2786, bringing the total to 20,921.
